EHS Manager

Seeking an experienced EHS Manager to oversee, implement and manage all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) activities within an FMCG environment. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and drive forward best practice across the site.

Description

  • Develop, implement, and manage the company's EHS policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with legislation and industry standards.
  • Coordinate and deliver training to improve EHS awareness and behaviours.
  • Work closely with site leaders to develop EHS strategies and targets.
  • Lead incident investigations, ensuring prompt reporting and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Monitor and report on EHS performance, trends and risks.
  • Drive continuous improvement of EHS performance across the site.
  • Engage with external bodies and regulators as required.

Profile

A successful EHS Manager should have:

  • A degree in a related field such as Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or Engineering.
  • Significant experience in an EHS role within a high paced manufacturing environment.
  • A proven track record of managing EHS within a Manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of EHS legislation and best practice.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
