Description
- Develop, implement, and manage the company's EHS policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with legislation and industry standards.
- Coordinate and deliver training to improve EHS awareness and behaviours.
- Work closely with site leaders to develop EHS strategies and targets.
- Lead incident investigations, ensuring prompt reporting and implementation of corrective actions.
- Monitor and report on EHS performance, trends and risks.
- Drive continuous improvement of EHS performance across the site.
- Engage with external bodies and regulators as required.
Profile
A successful EHS Manager should have:
- A degree in a related field such as Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or Engineering.
- Significant experience in an EHS role within a high paced manufacturing environment.
- A proven track record of managing EHS within a Manufacturing environment.
- Excellent knowledge of EHS legislation and best practice.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
