We are looking for an experienced rota maternity nanny to join a warm and welcoming family based in the beautiful neighbourhood of St John's Wood.
As first-time parents, they are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their baby in December. The family is internationally rooted, with the mother being from India and the father from the United States, bringing a rich cultural diversity to the home. They share their home with a lovely goldendoodle.
To help maintain a smooth and organised home environment, they also employ a full-time housekeeper. The family is seeking an experienced and nurturing nanny to guide them and provide exceptional care for their newborn. The ideal candidate will become an integral part of the family, offering support, expertise, and love as they grow together. They would love to find someone with a South Asian background, though having a good knowledge of the culture is the most important. Someone speaking Hindi or Punjabi would be amazing!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide full-time care for the newborn, ensuring the child's safety, well-being, and developmental needs
- Assist with breastfeeding, establishing sleep routines, and weaning
- Perform all nursery duties including feeding, bathing, diaper changes, and soothing the baby
- Set up and maintain a structured daily routine
- Support the family with household tasks related to the child
- Travel internationally with the family, ensuring the baby's needs are met during trips
- Create a stimulating and nurturing environment for the child
- Provide long-term commitment, growing with the child and becoming part of the family
Requirements:
- Significant experience with newborns and infants
- Expertise in breastfeeding, sleep training, and weaning
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Ability to work flexible hours, including potential 24/7 coverage
- Dog-friendly and comfortable with pets in the home
- Looking for a long-term role, ready to become an integral part of the family
