Client Account Manager

This is a newly created role due to growth in the business.

Reporting to the Head of HR and with supervision and support from the Senior Client Account Manager, you will work on the account management of existing accounts and outreach to generate new business.

You will support with key accounts, developing accounts and opportunity accounts, moving them all up through the sales cycle.

Client Account Manager Responsibilities

The Client Account Manager will be responsible for:

Up-selling and cross-selling to achieve new sales and expand existing accounts

Identifying new target audiences

Implementing clear strategic client plans via consultative selling techniques to lead proposals from initial enquiry through to onboarding and business support

Leveraging industry contacts, sales insights, and existing clients via marketing campaigns to drive engagement and new business revenue

Successfully converting and maximising new pipeline opportunities across incoming and outgoing opportunities, tenders, proposal construction and negotiations

Keeping the database up-to-date and maintained weekly to ensure forecasting and reporting are accurate

Client Account Manager Experience

To be successful in the role you will have a B2B account management background from within a consultancy business. You will be open to learn and open-minded, resourceful and able to use your initiative to manage your workload and time to achieve targets. You must have excellent attention to detail and communication skills. You will be experienced at the full sales cycle from identifying the target audience to updating the sales database, creating a marketing plan with the marketing team, researching, through to identifying and understanding client's pain points, mapping out their HR teams to getting buy-in and closing a deal. You must have experience of selling, bidding and proposal management with a consultative selling style and be a strong influencer, collaborative in a team environment and hungry to hit targets. You must be independent and able to work remotely with minimal supervision.

Experience working within a digital or product consultancy where you have been liaising with HR, L&D or DEI professionals is a distinct advantage and highly desirable.

Location

This role offers flexible and hybrid working with a requirement to be in the office one day a week plus an additional day a month for team meetings. You must be able to get to West Oxfordshire.

This role is full-time, permanent role. 35 hours per week.

You must have the full right to work in the UK and be based in Oxfordshire.
