Reed Accountancy are partnering a true market leader with ambitious plans, in the recruitment for an Accounts Assistant to join their expanding team.
This role can be worked on a flexible, hybrid basis with 3 days per week required in the office. Initially this is a long term, temporary contract however could highly likely be made permanent for the right individual.
As Accounts Assistant, your key duties will include:
- Prepare monthly high-level concession reconciliations for department stores and e-commerce partners.
- Support detailed monthly reconciliations, linking them to high-level data.
- Generate and post self-billing invoice templates in SAP.
- Conduct analytical evaluations of third-party source documents for reconciliation accuracy.
- Investigate discrepancies in reconciliations and escalate issues for prompt resolution.
- Prepare and post journals in Blackline.
- Liaise with third-party contacts and internal operations to resolve queries.
- Assist with the month-end process and allocation of payments to the customer ledger.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of all reconciliation activities.
- Provide support for internal and external audit queries.
- Cover ad-hoc duties to support the team as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in preparing high-level and detailed reconciliations.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to maintain effective internal and external relationships.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Positive attitude and strong team-working skills.
- Knowledge of SAP and JDA finance accounting systems is preferred.
There is plenty of free parking on site. The ideal candidate will be available immediately or at short notice, with previous experience in reconciliations and able to commit to a long term, temporary assignment that is highly likely to be made permanent thereafter.
