Network Engineer 3 – 6-month contract (Inside IR35) London
My client is seeking an experienced Network Engineer with a strong skillset surrounding Cisco products, Checkpoint firewalls and Zscaler security services.
The Network Engineer will be joining the Network team, assisting on a mixture of Network BAU tasks as well as upcoming network upgrade and security projects.
In addition, the Network Engineer will have strong experience troubleshooting switches and routers and expert knowledge of LAN/WAN and wireless technologies.
The Network Engineer must have:
- Network Engineer happy to do a mixture of BAU and Project work
- Strong Cisco administration, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Expertise in Cisco routing and switching and LAN/WAN and wireless technologies
- Solid skillset surrounding Checkpoint firewalls (Checkpoint patching preferred) – would consider ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet as an alternative.
- Zscaler security services expertise – experience in ZIA, ZPA, Zscaler Firewall and Zscaler Tenancy Control preferred.
- Relevant Network Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP
- Ideally having performed a Network Engineer role within the Law/Financial/Insurance sector
The customer is ideally looking for the Network Engineer to be onsite 2 days per week in Canary Wharf.
