Children's Finance Manager

£400 per day (umbrella)
Full Time Contract (3 Months)
Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Childrens Finance Manager in Liverpool. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.
The job:
- Ensure the provision of appropriate financial advice to Directors and Service Managers
- Facilitate the overall improvement in the management and performance of the financial administration of the organisation, with particular regard to the financial and operational management of services.
- The provision of regular, cyclical and ad-hoc budgetary control information and advice to budget holders and managers at all levels
- Provide intelligent analysis of financial information to cost centre managers to assist in the financial management of services within the Portfolio
- Preparation of government financial returns
The candidate:
- Part qualified (CCAB or CIMA part qualified or AAT/equivalent qualified with suitable experience)
- Knowledge of financial software packages, enquiry packages and corporate accounting systems
- Experience working in a similar capacity in children's services is highly desirable
