We are recruiting on behalf of a well-respected college group seeking a Security Manager to oversee the safety and security of multiple campuses. This temporary role offers a fantastic opportunity to make an impact while developing and implementing security policies to protect students, staff, and visitors alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Security Management: Develop and execute security strategies aligned with the institution's goals, ensuring a safe learning environment
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct regular assessments to identify potential threats and devise solutions
  • Incident Response: Lead the creation of effective response plans for security breaches or emergencies
  • Access Control & CCTV Management: Manage access systems, key control, and oversee CCTV operations to maintain high standards of campus security
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and develop a highly skilled security team, promoting continuous improvement
  • Emergency Preparedness: Ensure readiness for emergencies, including natural disasters and other significant threats
  • Community Engagement: Build relationships with local law enforcement and external partners to enhance security operations

Essential Qualities:

  • Strong leadership abilities with experience managing security teams
  • Proactive approach to identifying risks and resolving issues
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to foster strong working relationships
  • Knowledge of security regulations and best practices

Requirements:
