Description
- Assist in the day-to-day financial operations of the school, including processing invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with school policies and procedures.
- Support the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Reconcile bank statements and assist in the month-end closing process.
- Liaise with staff, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve any finance-related queries.
- Assist in the management of the school's payroll and ensure timely processing of salaries.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team and perform other duties as required.
Profile
- Previous experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Relevant finance or accounting qualifications are desirable.
