As the Head of Business Development the expectation is that you'll essentially be able to open doors, maximise current partnerships and seal the deal with new opportunities. You'll need to have a proven track record of owning the full sales lifecycle with examples of delivering growth and profitability.
This is a business model like no other, meaning that you wont just be in a standalone, tunnel vision role. As the Head of Business Development you'll be keen to exploit your internal relationships with wider functions like; product development, marketing, merchandising and licensing teams. Some of your biggest drivers will be because when you meet this brand, you're going to want to watch the business boom so being a pivotal team players is absolutely key.
HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ATTRIBUTES:
- Sports & Performance market experience is desirable
- A genuine love for the product
- Not afraid to hold a commercial, objective opinion on ranges for GTM strategies
- Ability to maximise a "black book" of contacts
- Proven ability to open doors
- A genuine, hard working, collaborative team player mentality with desired interest to nurture and grow internal teams/talent
