We are seeking a Loading Shovel Driver to join our team at Kendall Wharf, Portsmouth, for an immediate start. This is a temporary position with a duration of 8 weeks, with the possibility of extension.
- Role: Loading Shovel Driver
- Pay Rate: £16 per hour
- Location: Kendall Wharf, Eastern Road, Portsmouth PO3 5LY
- Duration: 8 weeks initially with the view of extension
- Hours: 45 hours per week
- Shift Times: 6:45 AM - 4:15 PM (including 1-hour break)
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating loading shovel machinery safely and efficiently
- Handling materials and ensuring timely delivery to the necessary areas
- Adhering to all health and safety protocols
- Performing regular equipment checks and reporting any issues
Essential Requirements:
- Valid Loading Shovel tickets
- Previous experience in operating a loading shovel
- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness
