French Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and experienced French Teacher to join our secondary education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in French education and be ready to inspire students with the beauty of the French language and culture.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Delivering engaging French lessons to secondary school students, ensuring that each student achieves their full potential in understanding, speaking, reading, and writing the French language.
- Preparing lesson plans, teaching materials, and activities that cater to a range of abilities within the classroom.
- Assessing and recording students' progress and providing feedback to students, parents, and other educators.
- Creating a vibrant learning environment that is inclusive and promotes the enjoyment of learning a new language.
- Participating in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school-wide training sessions.
- Collaborating with colleagues to integrate cross-curricular themes and to share best teaching practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Relevant qualifications in French education, such as a degree in French or Modern Languages.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in French.
- Prior experience teaching French at the secondary education level.
- Excellent command of the French language and a passion for teaching and cultural exchange.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
- Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise tasks effectively.
