Hours: Full-time, Flexible
Salary: £78,000
Contract: 12 Month Consultancy Contract
The Role
The organisation are at the forefront of developing an open-source web application designed to
facilitate registration in countries across the world.
As Senior Digital Product Designer, you will leverage your extensive design expertise to collaborate closely with the country stakeholders, developers and core technical team to conceptualise, design, and implement new features and integrations - with the support of the Design Lead.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to conduct design research activities to understand country
- configuration requirements
- Design new product features and communicate final designs with mockups and prototypes using
- Figma experience
- Write backlog tickets to specify the design of new features with acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with the development team to implement new features, resolve bugs, and enhance
- existing functionalities
- Participate in design reviews and discussions with cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to Scrum activities including daily standup meetings, task estimations, and
- retrospectives.
- Potential requirement for international travel
About You
As Senior Digital Product Designer you will be a seasoned senior-level product designer with a passion for leveraging technology to drive social impact.
You will also have the following skills:
- Expert fluency in English, ideally proficiency in French however not essential
- Substantial industry experience as a product designer
- Demonstrable experience in designing and delivering high-quality customer-facing digital products.
- You communicate with wireframes and prototypes.
- Can create design research plans and tools to gather requirements from stakeholders and end-users
- Strong understanding of design principles, user experience, and user interface design
- Adept at colour, layout, motion, and typography.
- Proactive approach to design problem-solving and optimization
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and participation in agile ceremonies.
