Design Director - Maidenhead, Berkshire
£55,000 - £60,000 plus benefits
We are recruiting for Design Director to join our client a Presentation Design Agency based in Maidenhead in a temp to perm opportunity. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, energetic, and committed Design Director who shares their vision and wants to be a key part of the agency alongside the Founder and Directors.
The Design Director will be a convincing client-facing voice on the importance of activating brand values to engage and delight important audiences through brilliant design. Working with the content team, the Design Director will deliver clear, coherent, and compelling creative and design solutions for strategic business stories including but not limited to white papers; presentations; events; animations; videos; print; no code web sites; and relevant emerging technologies.
The Design Director will manage client and colleague expectations around all creative solutions for fast-moving senior teams and executives inside global brands. They will assume responsibility for the studio's commercial performance and team management, including mentoring the creative team to help them reach their full potential and deliver work on time to a high standard. The ideal candidate will be available on a temporary to permanent basis.

Experience Required
- Proven ability to lead, inspire, and collaborate in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Hands on highly experienced Designer with extensive knowledge of creating compelling visual concepts.
- Strong degree in a related subject with extensive experience of working for a brand agency or in-house.
- Exceptional design expertise with global rand experience at a senior level.
- Strong client-facing organsational, internal communication and commercial capabilities.
- Excellent team leadership and nurturning skills, able to work hands-on as needed.
- Clear creative vision coupled with the ability to argue successfully for the right solution while being open to others ideas.
- Exceptional communication skills in written and spoken English, confident presentation skills and the ability to articulate complexity.
- Technical fluency and up to date knowledge of creative tools and software, including Adobe CS and MS Office.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for clarity in all things.
- Animation, video and 3D experience is a significant bonus.
