We are seeking a dedicated Motor Vehicle Technology Lecturer/Technician to join our specialist college for young people with SEND. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for developing tailored training packages for vulnerable young people. The role offers flexibility for a full-time lecturer or a mixed role for a tutor/technician for the right candidate.
Day to Day of the role:
- Motivate and support learners with SEND, ASD, and SEMH to reach their full potential.
- Develop high-quality programmes of study, schemes of work, and assessment plans.
- Deliver engaging learning experiences, conduct demonstrations, and supervise practical work.
- Act as an academic and pastoral tutor to learners.
- Train and engage learners on a range of topics and tasks relevant to the awarding body.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A strong desire to work within a SEND environment and the ability to motivate learners with additional needs.
- Experience in producing and delivering high-quality educational content.
- Competence in supervising and delivering practical work within Motor Vehicle Technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to act as a tutor and mentor.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
