This role is perfect for someone with a proactive work ethic, delivery experience, and a customer-focused attitude. The position involves heavy lifting and the management of vending machine stock, offering a competitive salary and the potential for overtime.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Travelling to various client sites to collect readings, refill, and merchandise vending machines, ensuring proper stock rotation.
- Handling cash transactions and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Performing physical tasks, including lifting and transporting stock from the van to vending machines.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of vending machines.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and resolving client issues promptly.
- Efficient route planning to optimise daily tasks and client satisfaction.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must possess a clean driving licence (Category B) and have substantial van driving experience.
- Previous delivery experience is essential.
- Experience in stock handling and vending machine re-stocking is highly advantageous.
- Strong communication skills for effective client and team interactions.
- Good numeracy skills for managing financial transactions.
- Customer-focused with a knack for problem-solving.
- Capable of heavy lifting and physical work.
