Join Our Team as an English Teacher!

Are you passionate about literature and language? Do you have the skills to inspire and engage students with the power of words? If so, we're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join our team in Plymouth. As an English Teacher, you will play a vital role in nurturing student's love for reading, writing, and critical thinking. We believe in providing a high-quality education in a supportive and inclusive environment. Our school is committed to nurturing well-rounded students through innovative teaching methods, a comprehensive curriculum, and a collaborative community.

Some Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective English Literature lessons across a range of topics, including literature, language, and writing.
  • Develop and implement creative and differentiated instructional strategies to cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help each student reach their full potential.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages a love for reading, writing, and critical thinking.
  • Prepare students for examinations and help them develop strong communication and analytical skills.

Requirements:

  • A degree in English Literature or a related field.
  • A teaching qualifications (QTS or equivalent).
  • Previous experience teaching English is preferred.
  • Understanding of the curriculum and best teaching practices.
  • A passion for literature and language and a commitment to fostering a love for learning in students.
