Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer

Our client is seeking a Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in both electrical and mechanical maintenance. Ideally to be considered for this role you will be electrically biased and have an electrical qualification but depending on experience mechanical qualifications may be considered.
Day to Day of the role:
- Conduct electrical and mechanical maintenance duties across various equipment and areas.
- Provide maintenance and repair services for a diverse range of manufacturing machinery.
- Execute planned and unplanned maintenance activities to prevent downtime.
- Complete all maintenance tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform hand tool and harness repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and troubleshoot problems.
- Monitor consumable stock levels and order replacements as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
- Participate in building maintenance tasks to maintain facility standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of electrical maintenance experience.
- Demonstrated mechanical ability.
- Effective communication skills.
- Competent with various types of power tools.
- Comfortable working at height.
- Ability to interpret documents, reports, and drawings, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and manuals.
Desirable:
- 18th Edition approved.
- FLT Licence.
- PPT Licence.
- Welding experience.
- IPAF / MEWP Licence.
- Building / Plumbing skills.
