In the ever-changing world of Tax Compliance & Advisory, we are seeking an ambitious & attentive Private Tax Senior Associate. The successful candidate will work closely with the management and partnership team to develop their client management skills and get thorough exposure to comprehensive PT Compliance & Advisory services.

Client Details

Our client is a well-established accountancy firm with a significant presence across South West, offering comprehensive compliance & advisory services. With a split tax function, our client is looking to grow their specialist Private Tax team to partner with local solicitors, HNWI's, trusts & agricultural clients.

Description

  • Work with diverse tax portfolios, ensuring all compliance deadlines are met.
  • Develop & provide expert advice on private tax matters to clients.
  • Identify tax planning opportunities to help clients minimise their tax liability.
  • Keep abreast of changes in tax legislation and advise clients accordingly.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and deliver a high standard of client service.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues.
  • Participate in business development activities to win new business.

Profile

A successful Private Tax Senior Associate should have:

  • Passion for client-facing engagement and UK Private Tax Compliance & Advisory services.
  • Previous experience working in UK Private or Mixed Tax.
  • Proven experience managing diverse tax portfolios.
  • Full or Part-qualified under a UK-recognised Accountancy qualification - ATT, ACA, ACCA, CTA (QBE will be considered).
  • Knowledge of UK private tax legislation.
  • Strong client service skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to identify and capitalise on business development opportunities.
