Cover Supervisor

- Contract: Temporary (potential for permanent placement)
- Start Date: September 2024
We are seeking a proactive Cover Supervisor with a strong classroom presence for seocndary schools across Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about education and ready to make a difference in the classroom.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Supervise classes in the absence of regular teachers, ensuring continuity of education.
- Maintain a positive and conducive learning environment for all students.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting respect and engagement.
- Provide support to students with their work as set by the regular teacher.
- Ensure that any completed work is collected at the end of the lesson and passed on to the regular teacher.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in UK schools is essential.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is not required, but beneficial.
- Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage students across Key Stage 3 (KS3) to Key Stage 5 (KS5).
- Comfortable teaching a variety of subjects and adapting to different learning needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
