HR Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Manager to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring the proper implementation of company strategies and objectives. The HR Manager will play a key role in supporting the company's growth by recruiting top talent, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with UK employment laws.

Key Responsibilities of the HR Manager:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business strategy.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process:
  • Create job descriptions and post job adverts.
  • Screen candidates and conduct background checks.
  • Conduct interviews and onboard new hires.
  • Issue employment contracts and staff letters
  • Liaise with Finance on staff-related matters
  • Organise induction programs for new employees.
  • Provide support on HR-related topics (e.g., leaves, compensation, issue resolution).
  • Promote HR programs to ensure an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies.
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment laws and regulations.
  • Conduct performance management processes (e.g., reviews, appraisals).
  • Manage employee relations, addressing demands, grievances, and other issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
  • Prepare and analyse HR metrics and reports for management review.
  • Support business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and retention of human capital.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven working experience as an HR Manager or other HR Executive.
  • Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics and data.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
  • In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • CIPD certification is preferred but not essential.
