Another new opportunity has come in for an EVENT SALES BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER to join a fast-paced and exciting international EVENTS business in which you will be working to well established event production-deadlines. The role is B2B and also B2C and the role involves plenty of general on-the-phone courtesy calling as well as attending events in-person where you will meet clients . There is some travel involved in this role

Salary : to £35,000 + OTE of additional £10k in year one (OTE is uncapped)

The role
Fast-paced and exciting international events business in which you will be working with well established B2B and B2C clients as well as attending events.
Duties
Working from a well-established list of existing customers you will:
- Make outbound "courtesy calls" to introduce yourself to potential and also existing sponsors promoting event packages
- Liaising with regards pricing of sponsorship packages and also explaining the costs of attendance
- Chasing up the previous year's event attendees in order to check their attendance this year
- Sending out event information, price lists, customer lists and other event-related information
- Work to revenue sales targets
- There will be some international travel in this role as you will be attending events
Requirements
- Fluent English
- 12-18 months previous sales and telesales experience
