The Opportunity

QBE Europe is currently recruiting an events & hospitality adviser to join a well-establish and successful communications & marketing team in our London office. In this role you will play a key part in running key events, from initiation to execution, to ensure the successful communication of QBE EO's narrative and brand profile.

Your new role

  • Work closely with the Events & Hospitality Manager to support the development of the events & hospitality programme.
  • Support the planning and delivery of QBE hosted conferences, dinners, workshops, virtual events, industry exhibitions, seminars, internal events and hospitality to promote product and business initiatives
  • Create detailed event and venue proposals ensuring stakeholder briefs and requirements are met with venue information, entertainment, guest speakers and team building activities.
  • Manage individual events within the agreed programme, taking responsibility for each event to meet project deliverables and raise QBE profile and brand. On site management of the events will be required too.
  • Produce materials e.g. name badges, information packs, briefing documents and registration lists to maintain QBE standards.
  • Coordinating the guests lists, producing and sending invitations, monitoring response levels, liaising with stakeholders to ensure maximum attendance

  • Involvement and exposure to events (financial/professional services)
  • Managing and executing complex events for senior management
  • Working on several projects/events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Managed multiple external agencies
  • Delivering internal communications and brand programmes
