Our client is a prestigious Legal 500 law firm with multiple offices in Dorset. Renowned for their commitment to delivering exceptional client care, they pride themselves on providing top-quality legal services to their clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable firm with a strong focus on fostering teamwork and professional development.

They are looking for a part time employment solicitor.

In this role you will be working closely with the litigation team, managing a variety of contentious employment law matters. The successful candidate will be an experienced solicitor with a passion for employment law, particularly in the areas of disputes and litigation.

Duties:

  • Advising mainly employee clients on employment law matters such as settlement agreements and unfair dismissal claims.
  • Keeping up to date with all legal and regulatory developments.
  • Observing the SRA's Code of Conduct for Solicitors and maintaining appropriate standards of professional conduct.
  • Keeping up to date with employment law.
  • Time recording & billing to target.

Desired Skills:

  • Qualified solicitor with experience in contentious employment law (minimum 3 years PQE preferred).
  • Possess a strong background in Employment law, including court and tribunal work.
  • Be a team player and able to manage a caseload independently.
  • Excellent technical and client care skills.
  • Business development and networking skills.
  • Be able to travel to firm's other offices in Dorset.
