Our client based in Central London is currently recruiting for a Property Surveyor to join their team as soon as possible.
This is a full time, temporary position on an ongoing contract offering up to £300 per day Umbrella LTD.
The purpose of the role is to collaborate with the client's Area Repairs Manager to inspect property exteriors and communal areas, ensuring timely repairs and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Support resource deployment flexibility to manage workload fluctuations.
- Advise on investment needs to plan major works programs effectively.
- Provide technical support and ensure compliance with repair contracts.
- Implement health and safety policies and provide expertise on construction industry regulations.
- Lead strategic initiatives within the Housing portfolio to achieve council objectives.
- Ensure high-quality repairs and efficient complaint resolution.
- Conduct thorough post-inspections and manage contract variations and payments.
- Maintain accurate records and respond promptly to insurance claims and inquiries.
Requirements:
- Strong building pathology knowledge, 5+ years experience in responsive repairs, excellent customer service skills, reliability, attention to detail.
- IT proficiency, problem-solving, organization, communication, teamwork.
- Qualifications: Evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Good analytical and decision-making skills
- Qualifications in Building Surveying?
- Experience in maintaining Section 20 paperwork and insurance claims for pre and post inspections
