Repairs Surveyor
- Hourly Rate: £38 - £40 (Umbrella)

We are currently seeking a Building Maintenance Surveyor for an urgent start. This role offers a hybrid working model, covering the North London area. Initially a 3-month temporary position, but then the option to go perm. We are looking for someone who holds a strong background within surveying and or has moved from a trade into surveying (trade background is not essential but more desirable)
Day-to-day of the role:
- Conduct thorough inspections of buildings to assess condition and identify maintenance or repair needs.
- Prepare detailed reports on building conditions, including cost estimates for repairs and maintenance work.
- Prioritise and schedule necessary repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Liaise with contractors and oversee repair and maintenance work to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during the execution of works.
- Provide expert advice on property maintenance and management.
- Work closely with other professionals, including architects, engineers, and construction workers, to ensure building integrity and safety.
- Manage and maintain records of building inspections, maintenance schedules, and completed works.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Building Maintenance Surveyor or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of building construction, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to produce detailed reports and maintain accurate records.
- Good communication and negotiation skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Proficient in the use of surveying tools and technology.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North London area.
