Senior Finance Manager, Operations

An opportunity to work for a leading international property developer, based in Central London.

The senior Finance Manager, will be accountable for overseeing global Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and treasury including management of the day-to-day operations of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable
*

The Sales Ledger function ensuring that all transactions are properly included in the
Sales Ledger to enable timely closing of the company's books at month end and that all
appropriate reconciliations are prepared in a timely and accurate manner
*

The resolution of issues and queries in relation to rent and service charge invoices in a
prompt and efficient manner
*

The maintenance and control the sales ledger function to ensure that data meets the
requirements of internal and external auditors, and of any external regulatory bodies
*

The production of contributions to management and investor reports on a weekly, monthly and ad-hoc basis to inform decision making
*

Be responsible for 'end-to-end' credit control process and command excellent knowledge of
internal and external debt recovery escalation processes;

collection of revenue, ensuring it is received on time, correctly allocated, and
reconciled there-by ensuring management information and reports are accurate and up to date at all times
*

Work with colleagues in leasing and legal departments to determine appropriate courses of action when bad debts are incurred, and initiate legal/debtor processes as appropriate
*

Lead a team to setup a centralized Direct Debit database, to maximise the inflow of income, and establish a process to escalate to legal and leasing departments when Direct Debit mandates are not in place or have been de-activated
*

Continuously seek ways to standardise, simplify and automate Accounts Receivable
activities, with a view to both increasing effectiveness and reducing costs

Accounts Payable
*

Supervise the activities of the Accounts Payable team globally, ensuring that work programs are achieved
*

Ensuring all transactions are properly included in the ledgers to enable timely month /
quarter / year end
*

Review and make recommendations to weekly reporting of aged creditor listing and purchase order status reports prior to circulation with budget holders and other stakeholders
*

Maintenance and control the Accounts Payable function to ensure that data meets the
requirements of internal and external auditors, and of any external regulatory bodies
*

Production of contributions to management reports on a weekly, monthly and ad-hoc basis to inform decision making
*

Ensure completion of all statutory reporting, including Business Payment Practices and Performances filing
Treasury
*

Lead and manage the Treasury function and all related activities
*

Be responsible for all reporting in regard to global banking, including weekly banking summary, quarterly bank reporting, monthly management reporting and annual reporting to the US
*

Be responsible for all banking mandates, including updating and ensuring that all relevant signatories have been assigned the relevant level of authorisation
*

Oversee bank reconciliation processes for entities, ensuring that these are performed by all relevant team members, and that reconciling items are cleared on a regular basis
*

Ensure that the training of all relevant finance team members for online
banking, payment process and any additional banking training as required, e.g., fraud
awareness and prevention is completed
*

Manage existing relationships with bankers
*

Lead Treasury function in improvements/enhancement to Kyriba TMS system
