Risk Manager - Manchester
We are currently working with a prestigious Main Contractor who are looking for a Risk Manager to join them working within the Rail sector.
Location: Manchester
Salary: £65 000 - £80 000 plus additional benefits
Positions Responsibilities:
- Manage/Lead the project risk management program across the project.
- Drive focus on actively managing risks.
- Mentor, train, and advise project leaders in risk awareness.
- Deliver training in project risk management.
- Facilitate context focused Workshops monthly.
- Deliver to the Project Execution Plan and develop specific project risk management procedures.
- Report top risks and quantitative analysis to key internal and external stakeholders.
- Represent the project risk management program at project leadership meetings.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in Qualitative Risk
- Ability to establish Quantitative Risk Management (QSRA QCRA)
- Experience facilitating risk workshops, risk reviews/ sessions.
- Professional experience in engineering and construction with direct responsibility for management.
- Established Rail and transportation experience
- Experience working in rail sector preferably.
- Knowledge of international risk standards (e.g., ISO31000, PMI, etc.), and risk management tools (e.g., ARM, At-Risk, etc.).
- Experience with the holistic approach of risk management at portfolio and/or program level.
- Experience managing multi-discipline teams.
- Excellent communication skills (English language) at multiple levels of management and client relations.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
