Responsibilities:
As a Drama Teacher, you will inspire a love for language and drama, fostering students' communication skills, creativity, and confidence. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Delivering engaging and dynamic Drama lessons, catering to students of various abilities and learning styles.
2. Developing and implementing creative and stimulating lesson plans aligned with the curriculum.
3. Assessing and evaluating students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
4. Collaborating with colleagues to create cross-curricular opportunities and enhance students' learning experiences.
5. Engaging students in dramatic performances, productions, and extracurricular activities.
6. Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that nurtures students' personal and academic growth.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
1. Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialisation in Drama.
2. Strong knowledge of the national curriculum requirements of Drama.
3. Enthusiasm for teaching, with a passion for fostering creativity and expression in students.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and staff effectively.
5. Flexibility, adaptability, and a positive attitude to thrive in a dynamic educational setting.
Remuneration and Application:
This is a full-time supply teaching position, offering competitive remuneration based on experience and qualifications. The school may also consider part-time arrangements for candidates who demonstrate a strong commitment and relevant experience.
