Job: Vehicle Damage Assessor/ Estimator
Salary: £35,000
Area: Markham Vale, Chesterfield
Ascend Talent is seeking a VDA to join an accident repair centre based in Chesterfield. As a VDA you will be responsible for all damage assessment, negotiation & customer liaison aspects of the vehicles entrusted with the ARC. In this position it requires knowledge & previous experience of the various systems & methods.
Responsibilities: As a Vehicle Damage Assessor you will be responsible for;
- Utilise Audatex software to assess vehicle damage and calculate repair costings efficiently.
- Liaise effectively with insurance engineers and customers to ensure clear communication and seamless resolution of issues.
- Generate precise damage assessments in accordance with BSI PAS 10125 standards, adhering strictly to correct repair methods.
- Strive for excellence in professionalism and accuracy throughout all stages of the estimation process.
Experience/ Skill:
- Plan your workload effectively to ensure vehicles are repaired to the agreed service level agreements (SLA'S).
- Work to a high standard in a fast paced environment.
- Carry out work in accordance with manufacturers specifications.
- Work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
- Be flexible in your approach.
