Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a West Yorkshire based engineering company to recruit a Field Service Engineer.
This is a hands on technical Field Service Engineer position, providing installation and maintenance of complex, engineered equipment.
Salary: up to £42,000
Location: Field/Home and Head office based -50% travel with a focus in the UK & Europe
Duties of the Field Service Engineer include:
- Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches
- Manage allon siteinstallation, repair, maintenance and test tasks
- Diagnose errors or technical problems quickly, determine and initiate best practice solutions
- Produce timely and detailed service reports
- Follow all filed procedures and protocols
- Cooperate with the technical team and share information across the organisation
- Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
We would be keen to speak with Field Service Engineers with the following:
- HNC, HND, BTEC level 3
- Background in Engineering
- Significant proven field service experience
- Strong levels of experience within the Mechanical Engineering field
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment with no supervision
- Ability to work flexibly and efficiently, able to adapt quickly to changing work schedules
- Familiarity with mobile tools and applications
