Senior Credit Risk Analyst

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a

Senior Credit Risk Analyst

to join the

IFRS 9 Camp of the Capital & Impairment team,

which sits within the Risk Measurements area of Credit Risk.

The role is to be responsible for model execution activities including analysing outputs and providing insight into trends and movements.

Day to Day - Core activities include

  • Month end Model execution and delving into the ‘Why' of movements.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis for stakeholders and committees.
  • Offer insightful analysis to support decision-making.
  • Assist with team tasks and business initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders.
  • Present results at senior-level committees.
  • Provide analysis and documentation for audits.

About you

For you to be successful in this role we are looking for someone who has a qualification with particular emphasis on a numerate discipline (ideally, statistics, finance or mathematics related) and the drive and passion to find the why.

Has experience of mathematical modelling, preferably in a Credit Risk or Financial environment, plus proficiency in Python or SAS, with advanced Excel skills.

It's crucial that you're conscientious and have a strong commitment to maintaining high standards and meeting deadlines. Our work environment emphasizes the importance of delivering top-quality results within specified timeframes.

Effective communication and collaboration are crucial for your success in this role, as you'll be working closely with diverse teams across the Society.
