In this Procurement Lead role, you will:
- Develop and sustain relationships with key department leads to identify contracting needs and implement strategies that align with business objectives.
- Ensure all tender and competition processes adhere to local and nationwide legislation and generate management information to identify future procurement opportunities.
- Draft and prepare contract documentation for high-value, complex portfolios of goods and services, guaranteeing clear specifications, effective performance, and optimal value through rigorous contract management.
- Lead project groups through the tender process, establishing strong specifications, clear evaluation methods, and effective contract management structures to ensure best value is achieved.

The ideal candidate will:
- Be Qualified by Experience (QBE) or working towards CIPS qualification.
- Ideally, have experience in a similar role within the public sector.
- Have proven experience in running procurement processes from end to end.
- Be skilled in drafting documents, consulting with suppliers, and running stakeholder meetings.
- Have excellent communication abilities to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
