A leading financial services organisation is currently searching for Project Manager with experience in Private Markets / Assets on a 6 - 12 month contract basis.
The day rate will be £900 Umbrella per day, with their working policy being three days in their city of London office
Responsibilities for the role are;
We are currently seeking a seasoned Project Manager with a focus on private assets or private markets to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in operations and project management, with a deep understanding of private markets. This role involves managing and delivering projects in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage projects related to private assets and private markets, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, budget forecasts, and resource allocation strategies.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring adherence to quality standards and reviewing project deliverables.
- Track project performance and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Resolve any issues and solve problems throughout the project life cycle.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders and maintain open lines of communication.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and company policies.
- Continuously improve project management methodologies and practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in an operations environment, preferably within private assets or private markets.
- Strong understanding of private markets and their operational processes.
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project management software tools.
- PMP or other project management certification is a plus.
