Job Title - Admissions Officer

Salary - Up to £25,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Location - Clifton, Bristol

Contract - Permanent, Full Time

Working Hours - Full time Monday to Friday

We are currently seeking an organised and friendly Admissions Officer to join our lovely client based in Clifton on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team within the education sector. We are looking for someone who can provide excellent customer service and administration. An immediate start is preferred but not essential.

This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday and based in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for incoming queries, including, greeting walk-ins and managing in person enquiries
  • Responding to telephone and email enquiries from students and stakeholders
  • Assisting students with booking appointments and accommodation, selling social programme tickets etc
  • Working with the registrar to enrol students to the school, overseeing data entry of passport information, discussing visa issues with the students, taking fees from students

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, but as long as you are a true people person and have excellent customer facing skills that is key!
  • Educated to graduate level or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and database management
  • Ability to multi-task and handle a variety of tasks efficiently
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks
