Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
Location: Based at West Byfleet, KT14 6EY 3 days a week, with frequent travel throughout the London area from West Byfleet to Central London
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, including escalations on call rota
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious Responsive Repairs Supervisor to successfully lead and support a team of up to 15 operational staff in delivering a diverse and complex range of responsive repairs across the London area.
As part of your role, you will ensure the performance of your team, providing strong and effective leadership to ensure that the team are effective in their roles, feel supported and motivated in their day to day duties. In order to achieve this, you will communicate regularly and clearly with your team on their progress of works and conduct inspections of repairs to ensure they are completed within the set time scale and to a high standard. You will also be managing sub-contractors in delivery of their works, ensuring high levels of quality. In order to do this, you will monitor the jobs per day and keep trackers up to date to ensure maximum output per trade per day.
It is important for our Reactive Repairs Supervisor to create and maintain a supportive, fair and positive culture within which team members are motivated and can develop and maximise their skills and abilities.
What You Need To Do The Job
First and foremost you must have previous experience in team management in a trades background, along with experience in managing a multi discipline delivery team.
You must be a strong and confident communicator and IT literate, especially in Microsoft Excel, as well as health and safety training or experience in the relevant areas such as Permit to Work, Risk assessment and Method Statement.
As this role requires frequent travel, you must have a full UK drivers license.
This role is subject to BSPSS Clearance.
