Data Analyst

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our team, responsible for creating a suite of BI solutions that enable in-depth analysis of organizational data. This role involves working with Power BI, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and other tools to extract actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making. The Data Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to transform raw data into meaningful information that informs strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Develop and maintain a suite of reports and solutions using Azure PowerBI platform, ensuring they are user-friendly and meet stakeholder requirements.
- Design, develop, and optimize stored procedures within the data warehouse for report data sourcing, utilizing best practices for performance and scalability.
- Create interactive and visually compelling reports and dashboards using Power BI to present insights derived from data analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into technical specifications for BI solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot BI solutions, ensuring the availability and reliability of data for decision-making.
- Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in business intelligence and data analytics, implementing innovative solutions to enhance analytical capabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualifications in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field are desirable.
- Relevant certifications in Microsoft Azure, Power BI, or SQL Server are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in data analysis, preferably in a business or organizational setting.
- Proficiency in SQL; knowledge of Python or R is desirable.
- Strong data visualization skills using Power BI or equivalent tools like Tableau.
- Significant experience with Excel; VB code experience is desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills for conveying complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
