Salary: Basic Negotiable, £50,000 OTE

Employment: Full time, Monday - Friday

Hours: 08:45 - 17:00

The Role:

We are looking for a candidate with a keen interest in financial markets, strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of our team and to support our vision within an already successful real estate financing business. In this role you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and develop a deep understanding of market dynamics and trading strategies. Your proactive approach and commitment to delivering high-quality service will be key to your success and advancement within the business.

Your Primary Responsibilities will include assisting with client account management, conducting market research and preparing detailed financial reports. You will also be involved in sourcing leads and executing deals with the support of senior brokers and ensuring all transactions comply with industry regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Calling potential clients to generate business and new opportunities.
  • Identifying and building relationships with commercial, bridging and development finance specialist lenders.
  • Processing applications and ensuring compliance of casework within regulatory and internal guidelines.
  • To learn and become proficient in deal progression, especially within legal and professional processes.
  • Ensure that client data is accurately collected and recorded within the company's CRM system.
  • Answering inbound calls and recording details.
  • Using business templates to complete credit proposals for funding.
  • Researching commercial opportunities with SME investors and developers to develop the business.
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure the common goal and outcome is achieved.

Key Competencies:

  • Ideally prior experience in financial services / mortgage broking / short-term lending
  • Proven track record of success in sales or business development
  • Previous experience of working within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Computer literate; good understanding of basic software packages such as MS Office
  • Sound telephone manner and interpersonal skills
