About the Role:
As a Senior Accounts Manager, you'll lead a small team of accountants while managing your own portfolio of clients. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering accurate, timely management accounts and year-end accounts. What You'll Do:
- Client Management: Build and nurture relationships with a portfolio of clients, acting as the go-to expert for any queries.
- Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a small team, providing guidance and feedback to ensure team success.
- Accounts Preparation: Ensure accuracy and compliance with UK accounting standards, delivering high-quality management and year-end accounts.
- Business Growth: Identify new opportunities for client growth and business development, expanding our clients services.
- Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance processes to boost efficiency and client satisfaction.
About You:
- ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
- Proven experience managing client portfolios with exceptional relationship-building skills.
- Team leadership experience with a focus on development and performance.
- Strong technical accounting expertise with in-depth knowledge of UK accounting standards.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Proficient in accounting software and Excel; experience with CCH is a plus.
