We've seen impressive growth, from a turnover of £2.2 million to £8 million within the last year, with the ambition to become a market leader in the booming renewables industry.

We are seeking a dynamic Quantity Surveyor to manage all commercial aspects of our projects. While primarily based at our Saltaire office, the role will involve site visits as needed. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow and develop within a company that values career progression, with the potential to acquire growth shares as the business expands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer commercial contracts and ensure compliance with terms and conditions
  • Attend site visits to ensure commercial compliance
  • Issue accurate applications and invoices in line with contract terms
  • Manage contract changes, ensuring successful commercial outcomes
  • Oversee subcontractor procurement, orders, and certifications
  • Provide commercial assistance at project meetings, particularly under NEC contracts
  • Review and manage monthly WIP and Cost Value Reports
  • Work closely with finance and operations teams to ensure accurate reporting of costs and
  • revenues
  • Assist with final accounts and resolution of contractual issues
  • Commercially manage subcontractors from procurement to final account

About You

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of post-graduate experience, ideally on-site
  • Experience with mechanical & electrical projects is a plus
  • Familiarity with JCT, NEC3, and NEC4 contracts
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
