A well established, privately owned and market leading organisation, with B2B and B2C routes to market, is recruiting a commercially focused Financial Controller to join their team. You will be working in a pleasant office space (with free parking) 4 days a week, with home working available 1 day a week.
Your new role
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for all aspects of the accounting and financial reporting, overseeing a team of 3. You will be a key individual within the SLT, responsible for generating monthly management accounts, cash-flow reporting and the preparation of statutory accounts. The role requires strong commercial acumen, the appetite to improve systems/processes and the flexibility to pitch in with ad hoc tasks as and when needed.
What you'll need to succeed
Previous experience of a hands-on Finance Manager or Financial Controller role including producing the management accounts pack.Commercially driven with excellent communication skills.IT literate, particularly with Excel and Sage 50 experience would be an advantage. The ability to prioritise a busy and varied workload, and meet deadlines as required.
