Planning Manager

Responsible for planning and managing the inbound flows of inventory for the UK and international business; the Planning Manager takes ownership of the consolidated customer demand plan, effectively translating it into timely supplier production forecasts and fully managing the whole planning function.

Description

  • Management of the full end to end Planning process (Supply and Demand).
  • Deliver market leading levels of stock availability by ensuring sufficient inventory is available to satisfy customer demand.
  • Manage the transfer flow of stocks between our European based supply network and our UK warehouse.
  • Ensure the product life cycle is effectively managed and that stock write offs minimised.
  • Plan inventory requirements in a cost-effective way ensuring targets are maintained.
  • Coordinate the smooth flow of goods into the warehouse with 3rd party logistics providers.
  • Lead the UK businesses IBP (integrated business planning) process.

Profile

  • +5 years' experience in Supply Chain Planning.
  • Background in the Food & Beverages / FMCG industry would be ideal.
  • High degree of literacy, numeracy, and attention to detail.
  • A start-up/SME mind-set; must be able to react and adapt to environments with a high degree of change and pace.
  • Detailed, strategically agile and motivated by both results and a desire to add real value to the business.
