THE ROLE:
Overall, you will have operational responsibility for lunch service, room service, events, conferences and meetings within the catering department. This includes:
- Planning and executing all logistical aspects of catering and events
- Conduct staff briefings, delegate tasks
- Build strong relationships with clients and incorporate feedback
- Manage budgets, monitor equipment and stock levels
- Maintain highest standards of food safety, hygiene and allergen management
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Events experience is essential
- Excellent customer service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Eye for detail
- NVQ/HNC in hospitality/catering management is desirable, and basic on WSET exams.
SALARY & BENEFITS:
- £30,400 + £8,000 overtime
- 25 days holiday + public holidays + Christmas shutdown
