Job Summary & Purpose

Job Purpose:
Delivering excellent customer service and providing proactive support to guide their colleagues through their employee lifecycle processes. This helps to make their organisation a great place to work and fosters a collaborative environment.

Job Summary Responsibilities:

  • As part of the employee experience team, you will be responsible for handling generalist queries, ranging from general enquiries and payroll to early employee relations support.
  • Working collaboratively within the immediate team will be critical to ensuring colleagues receive an excellent and timely level of service, along with professional, reliable, and accurate advice to meet their needs.
  • Incorporating teamwork, positivity, and innovative thinking into everything you do is key to success in this role.
  • Support continuous service improvement - no day is ever the same. Be an explorer and solution finder, challenge the status quo on where you can add value to improving our practices, systems, and employee services.
  • Be a passionate people professional - champion and widely promote wellbeing, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI), and improvement initiatives. You should live and breathe your work, focusing on quality, ensuring ethical practice consistently occurs, and always seeking opportunities to enhance the overall Met Office Employee Experience.
