The role requires candidates with strong organisational and time-management skills who are detail-oriented with a commitment to task completion. Candidates will be expected to work autonomously, be confident in making and receiving phone calls, remain professional in maintaining client relationships, and able to adapt to changing demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage directly with the team and clients to coordinate and support in the HR administration function
  • Develop documentation such as contracts, policies and memos as required for clients to meet the changing needs of their businesses
  • Preparation of letters, documents and templates to be reviewed and sent out by email or electronic signature software and completed documents are saved under client folders
  • Note taking during meetings and transcribing audio recordings from meetings
  • Stay updated with legislative changes and support in the communication of these effectively to clients
  • Fielding calls/enquiries and passing accurate information on to HR Advisors
  • Regularly review and update policies to ensure compliance with legislation
  • Assist with marketing to include writing blogs and newsletters
  • Proactive account management - calling clients to arrange annual reviews or quarterly check ins
  • Maintain accurate client records using CRM software

Qualifications and Skills:

Essential:

  • Minimum of 2 years recent and relevant admin experience
  • GCSEs in Maths & English (minimum grade C or grade 4)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Fluent in the English Language

Desirable:

  • CIPD Level 3 Certificate
  • Strong initiative and a proactive approach to tasks
  • Familiarity with the services provided by the WE DO Group

Job details:

  • Position: HR Support
  • Location: Darlington, with North East and occasional UK travel
  • Contract: Full-time (up to 40 hours per week), Monday to Friday (Part-time contracts available). 3 month probation period
  • Salary: £26,000 per annum (pro rata for part-time)
  • Benefits: 28 days' holiday per year including bank holidays (pro rata), birthday breakfast, death in service, Christmas celebrations and a commission structure on sales generated.
