Do you have a solid background in Finance and / Book-keeping? Can you add value in a part-time role in a busy dynamic working environment?
This is a super varied role in a fast paced SME in Bath where there is a strong team spirit across all departments.
Central Bath - 20 -25 hours per week - part office and part home-working
DAY TO DAY:
Generating weekly invoices and posting to ledger
Credit control to include checking aged debtors and chasing debtors for payment
Authorising, coding and arranging payments of monthly expenses and company credit cards
Maintaining bank accounts such as Paypal
Managing cash-flow and bank balances
Producing annual budgets and forecasts
Submitting regular VAT returns
Preparing monthly payroll
Managing and administering company payroll
Dealing with Companies House and National Statistics
Raising sales invoices, processing purchase invoices, bank reconciliations, payments and VAT returns and basic management accounts
Providing ad-hoc information to the business
Liaising with banks and building societies
WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE:
Good working knowledge of Excel and ideally Xero
Great communication skills

Methodical way of working and huge accuracy and attention to detail
