Our client, a luxury destintation venue, are looking for a Maintenance Technician on a full time, permanent basis.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Regularly carry out maintenance inspections of buildings and equipment
- Deal with and or attend on-site maintenance emergencies
- Undertake general hands-on maintenance and DIY tasks as required including but not limited to:
- Changing light bulbs and electrical fault finding
- Fixing wear and tear, scratches and marks
- Hanging shelves, pictures, mirrors, notice boards
- Moving and assembling furniture
- Door shaving and rehanging
- Grouting, plumbing repairs and blockages (sinks, toilets, showers)
- Clearing gutters, blocked drains and dealing with drainage problems
- Fixing locks and door handles
- Liaise with specialist external maintenance contractors/subcontractors as necessary ensuring that works are carried out in a timely manner and that the highest standards of workmanship are delivered
- Maintain inventory of on site equipment and maintenance repair schedule
- Research and order new equipment, fixtures and fittings as required
- Ensure Health and Safety procedures are followed at all times and act as the estate Health & Safety representative. This includes liaising with external consultants and undertaking relevant Health & Safety inspections, checks and requirements in line with current legislation, ensuring accurate records are maintained at all times

- Positive and flexible approach to work
- Due to the nature of the role and the layout of the site, it is desirable for the post holder to hold a full clean UK driving licence
- Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
