A well known global travel business is looking to recruit an ACA/ACCA qualified candidate to join its finance function.
The purpose of this role is to support the financial accounting and control capability by contributing to the delivery of complete, accurate and reliable financial information to meet the evolving needs of the group.
Main duties include:
- Preparation and input of month end journals.
- Participate in the monthly intercompany reconciliation process and perform internal controls relating to intercompany transactions to ensure mismatches are resolved.
- Own accounting, control and reporting of fixed assets.
- Production of timely monthly balance sheet reconciliations for selected balance sheet accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly balance sheet commentary.
- Work with systems champions, finance analysts and leadership team to ensure fit for purposes accounting systems
- Support the Financial Planning & Analysis Teams to submit the annual budget
- Support with the preparation of the annual financial statements and preparation of the necessary annual narrative reports
- Support with the preparation of the annual financial statements
- Assisting in preparation of the audit at all stages
You will be ACA/ACCA qualified looking for your first move from practice or in a similar financial accounting role.
