Our client, a leading frozen food provider, are looking for their next Supply Chain Analyst. We are looking for someone with exceptional Excel skills, to improve overall Service Levels to customers. You will play a critical role in the success of the business by ensuring products are available at the right time, in the right quantity, at the right cost.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of inventory management, stock control, and demand planning in a fast-moving business.
  • Strong understanding and experience of using ERP/SAP.
  • SQL experience would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience in supply chain analytics within a reputable business.
  • Someone willing to have their voice heard and ideas implemented.
  • PC Literate with excellent Excel Skills

  • Assertive, but tactful & diplomatic with good people skills
  • Analytical
  • Highly organised
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload.

The Role:

  • You will be joining a team of 5 in the Supply Chain team.
  • Ensure stock management processes are working and find the root cause of any reoccurring failures.
  • Manage the call back of raw materials from all third-party storage facilities.
  • Build & develop relationships with key members of the Warehouse team, to support maintaining high stock accuracy across all sites.
  • Analyse stocks weekly, to identify any problematic areas.
  • Maintenance of product master data, including new product set up and delist.
  • Gathering data on inventory levels, production rates, demand forecasts, and supplier performance.
  • Develop a base line forecasting tool in excel (based on historical sales), to act as a starting point for the commercial team's forecasting process.
  • Review the forecast accuracy and pull together monthly reports as part of the S&OP process.
  • Create a weekly forecast exception tool, to highlight any potential forecast amendments to the necessary teams.
  • Proactively resolve any reoccurring issues with the existing automated pick and despatch process.
  • Ensure that the 3PL KPI pack captures all delivery failures and analyse any trends in delivery issues.
  • Analysing data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.
  • Creating regular reports for management on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, supplier performance, and delivery times.
  • Predicting future product demand based on historical data, market trends, and seasonal variations.
  • Working closely with warehouse to align supply chain activities with projected demand.
