Farm Hand
Location: Broadstairs
Hourly Rate: £11.44 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
We have an exciting opportunity for a Farm Hand to join a family-run farm based in Broadstairs on a temporary-to-permanent basis. If you're hardworking, flexible, and don't mind getting your hands dirty, this could be the perfect role for you!
The role entails vegetable harvesting in the winter and planting through the summer
Key Responsibilities:
- Harvesting crops from ground level using hand tools
- Sorting and packing crops for distribution
- Performing repetitive manual handling tasks
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Operating farm machinery and driving tractors
Personal Specification:
- Flexibility with working hours, as you may be required to work late during busier periods
- Willingness to work outdoors, no matter the weather (appropriate attire will be provided)
- Must have your own wellington boots
- Physical stamina—this role involves being on your feet all day
- A full driving licence is required
