Learning Support Assistant

A chance to join a reputable Primary School in Enfield as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) and make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs. This role offers a supportive environment and a chance to positively impact student's academic and personal growth.

Role Description:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll provide tailored support to students, including those with challenging behaviours, fostering their development both academically and personally.

Team Environment:

Become part of a supportive team dedicated to enhancing the educational experience of students with additional needs.

Duration:

This position starts as a long-term temporary role, with the potential to transition into a permanent placement after a specified period of working with the school through our organization.

Requirements & Experience:

Candidates should have previous experience supporting children with challenging behavior, demonstrating the ability to forge strong connections with students who may find engagement difficult

Previous experience in either a mainstream or SEN school setting would be advantageous.

Ideal candidates will exhibit a balance of firmness and kindness, capable of setting boundaries while maintaining a compassionate and empathetic approach towards students.

Experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is preferred.

Applicants must possess or be willing to obtain a DBS check with a children's barred list check, registered with the update service.

Working Hours:

Candidates should be available Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
